Conservation and Restoration Services
The ARTEX Conservation Laboratory provides the following services:
- Painting conservation and restoration treatment for display, exhibition, travel, or safe storage
- Preventive conservation and collections care
- Condition reporting of individual works of art, collection surveys, and annual conservation care contracts
- Written and photographic documentation before, during, and after treatment
- Easel painting and mural conservation in situ or in the laboratory
- Coordination of the examination or treatment of works of art on paper, sculpture, and other objects
- Conservation project management and consulting
- Technical examination and art historical research on specific works of art
- Coordination of sampling and scientific analysis of works of art by conservation science laboratories
- Arrangement of art evaluation by qualified art appraisers
- Professional art handling, crating, and storage available on site.
- Installation and transport available nationally and internationally
